O U R C U L T U R E
We believe that grace truly changes lives.
Grace allows us to relax, forgive, repent, and enjoy life together, united by the Spirit of God. We don’t settle for a life of shame and legalism; instead we pursue the freedom of abundant life that Jesus gives us. At Faith Bible, you’re free to not have it all together because you are surrounded by grace.

INTENTIONAL DISCIPLESHIP
We imitate Christ’s example as we make disciples through intentional life-on-life living, helping others to trust and follow Jesus Christ.
GLOBAL VISION
We are actively involved in both local and global efforts to reach the unreached so that we may one day rejoice with all of God’s people from every tongue, tribe, and nation, forever and ever.
S T A T E M E N T O F F A I T H
As a church that seeks to stand on the Scripture alone and alongside the great early creeds of our Christian history, we adhere to the Apostles, Nicene, Athanasian, and Chalcedonian creeds of the early church. We choose to organize our stated beliefs around the 5 great solas of the reformation, in whose lineage we joyfully follow. In addition to this, we address the Image of God and the rebellion of humanity.
SOLA SCRIPTURA
S C R I P T U R E A L O N EScripture, as “God-breathed” and “Spirit-guided,” is true, trustworthy, and has been preserved for us. It is always the sole rule and authority of the church, as it expresses the very mind of our Triune God. We reject any theory or ideology that opposes or seeks to undermine Scripture.

(2 Timothy 3:14-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Numbers 23:11, Jeremiah 10:10, Psalm 19:7-11, 119, Isaiah 8:20; Luke 16:29, 31; Ephesians 2:20 Romans 1:19-21; Romans 2:14-15; Psalms 19:1-3, Hebrews 1:1, Proverbs 22:19-21; Romans 15:4; 2 Peter 1:19-20)
G R A C E A L O N EGrace is the foundation of how any creature relates to the Triune God. Grace—called divine generosity, undeserved favor, or unmerited divine intervention—is our only hope for a right relationship with our Creator. God’s grace toward the sinner caused the Son to take on skin and flesh all the way to the cross and resurrection. We believe everything in the Christian life is predicated on grace extended to us.
SOLA GRATIA
-
Common grace is given to all creatures, beckoning all living things to declare the glory of God—air to breathe, water to drink, food to eat. Saving grace is given to God’s people, enabling them to place their trust in Christ alone. Grace is a divine gift, without which the sinner will never be saved.
(Ephesians 2:1-10, Psalm 19:1-6, Genesis 6:1-4, 1 Peter 5:10, Psalm 84:11, Hebrews 4:16, John 1:14, 17, 1 Corinthians 1:4, Luke 4:22, Romans 5:21)
F A I T H A L O N EBy this, we cling to the many promises from God that by trusting in Him alone—in the person of Jesus the Messiah—we are reconciled to Him both judicially as citizens and relationally as sons and daughters. We repudiate anything added to the gospel of grace, as the apostle Paul did. The message of new creation is always by grace through faith, so that no person may boast before the Lord.

(Mark 1:15, 11:22, John 14:1, Corinthians 4:13; Ephesians 2:8, Romans 3:25, 4:16, 5:1-2, 10:14,17, Luke 17:5; John 3:14-17,1 Peter 2:2; Acts 13:39, 16:30-31, 20:32, 1 Cor 3:5, 12:9, 17, Hebrews 11:1, 12:2)
C H R I S T A L O N EWe treasure Christ above all else as the sole object of saving faith. Obedience to Him is how we glorify God. Walking in the Spirit teaches us to live like Him, being molded and shaped to look, act, and think more like Him. He is the only mediator between God and man. He is the Lord of all creation. He is the perfect God and man together. He was born of the Virgin Mary. He is the fulfillment of prophecy. He is the final Prophet, Priest, and King. He is coming again for His church. All authority has been given to Him in heaven and on earth. He is coming to judge the righteous and the wicked. He has no equal on this earth or in this cosmos. No pope, no angel, no spirit being, no clergy can command Him, and no human can stand in His presence unless He grants them the ability. He is very God of very God. He is the head of the church as He governs through His Word and the Spirit.

(Isaiah 42:1; 1 Peter 1:19-20, Acts 3:22, Hebrews 5:5-6,Psalms 2:6;Luke 1:33, Ephesians 1:22-23, Hebrews 1:2,Acts 17:31,Isaiah 53:10; John 5: 19-32, 17:6; Romans 8:30, 9. John 1:14; Galatians 4;4, Romans 8:3; Hebrews 2:14, 16-17, 4:15, Matthew 1:22-23, Luke 1:27, 31, 35;Romans 9:5; 1 Timothy 2:5, Revelation 22:10-20)
G O D ' S G L O R Y A L O N EWe treasure first that God is a plural unity—a Trinity of persons in one being: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We are Trinitarians. We love and enjoy the Triune God as being active in relationship to us—beautifully and purposefully in all good things. As the Creator of all things, perfect in power, wisdom, goodness, beauty, relationship, love, justice, wrath, mercy, grace, and goodness, we cling to the truth that we are not the most important person in the room, the world, or much less the universe. He is. We exist for Him. We exist to worship and enjoy Him, to have a relationship with Him, and to live in obedience to Him alone. His glory is our focus and the focus of all human history. Our redemption is important, but only as it relates to the glorious worship of the one true and living God. We will not bow a knee to any human in worship, no matter the cost.

I M A G E O F G O DThe image of God in humanity: We cherish this truth as part of God’s good design. Specifically, male and female are the only two biblically warranted genders; male-to-female is the only biblically warranted marriage union; and every human, regardless of age—from the unborn to the elderly—deserves to live before God until He takes them off this planet. Every human being bears the image of God as His unique creation. This means all people have intrinsic value and worth as human beings. This also means we must reject any ideology that seeks to devalue another person on the basis of ethnicity, IQ, contribution to society, etc. We are all one race—human.

(Genesis 1 and 2, Acts 17:24-27, Galatians 3:28, Romans 1:19 - 32)
REBELLION OF HUMANITY & IT’S COSMIC EFFECTS
The rebellion of humanity: Although not joyful to talk about, we believe that mankind is not the way they are supposed to be. We call this sin. Sin has many nuances in the biblical text, and the picture that is painted is not good. In fact, it is evil, rebellious, chaotic, divided, ugly, sad, hopeless, violent, unrepentant, uncaring, uncontrollable, and self-centered. This is idolatry in a word. We believe no man-made construct (CRT) or ideology (liberal theological agendas of social activism) can set the world right again.
-
It is not difficult to see the effects of sin on creation, as it is under a curse, and on every living thing on the planet—because it dies. Death is the outcome of sin, not of God’s living creation. Sin is the grounds for eternal separation from the presence of God, called Hell. Sin is cosmic, affecting and effecting every nook and cranny of this universe. As a result, humans don’t see clearly, think clearly, act rightly, believe reasonably, treat each other kindly, have the right motives, or worship the one true God. Sin ruins everything, and humans can’t educate our way out of it. We can’t move away from it, escape it with drugs or alcohol or money or sex or power or good works. Our only hope for life and in death—for sin not to get the last word—is the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
